Luke Rogowski is a cinematographer drawn to stories that speak through images more powerfully than words. Rooted in a lifelong love of film, he approaches each project with a deep respect for the emotional weight of visual storytelling. Using light, lensing, and composition to explore the spaces between dialogue and feeling.
Specializing in narrative filmmaking, Luke lets the characters lead guiding the camera through their perspective, revealing emotion, and shifting the viewer’s connection to the story in subtle, intuitive ways. His visual language is influenced by the poetic realism of Paris, Texas, the emotional surrealism of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and the grounded immediacy of The Bear.
With a strong technical foundation and hands-on experience in camera building, Luke brings precision and adaptability to every set. He understands how technical choices serve emotional beats, and how visual consistency builds trust with an audience.
A 2025 graduate of the College for Creative Studies with a BFA in Film, Luke continues to develop his voice as a director of photography who is committed to telling human stories with honesty, clarity, and cinematic intimacy.
